Also the film is set in the pre-independence era of Bombay of 1895.Based on true events, the film aims to tell the story of an Indian pioneer called Shivkar Bapuji Talpade, a man purported to have created the first airplane in 1895, eight years before that of the Wright brothers.This is a technically hard-to-prove assertion, but a stirring myth has always lent itself to the cinematic, and thus we have this film showing us Talpade taking to the sky.
